Dr. Joy Mowett-Fuller, DNP, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, is a highly accomplished healthcare professional with over 35 years of experience in nursing and medicine, including 16 years as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She is the founder of Shenandoah Medical Care Center (SMCC) in Lake Worth/Lantana, Florida, which began as a house-call service and now offers comprehensive primary care, IV hydration, weight loss services, and over 7,000 clinical hours for nursing and medical students.
Dr. Mowett-Fuller’s unwavering commitment to underserved communities is evident through the Shencare Foundation, which provides free healthcare to uninsured individuals. A pioneer in advancing nurse practitioner practice in Florida, she was among the first to receive the Autonomous Practice Provider designation. Guided by faith and a passion for service, she exemplifies leadership, personal growth, and dedication to education and community care
